Privacy Policy for DC A/S

In our Privacy Policy for DC A/S, you will find help to understand what data we collect, why we collect it and what we, as the data controller, use the data for.

1.1. This Personal Data Policy applies to all personal data that you give to us and/or we collect about you when you are a customer of DC A/S, or when you visit our website http://www.dcontracting.dk.

2.2 When we process personal data, we comply with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as well as the Danish personal data law that may be applicable after 25th May 2018.

2.4 If you would like to see your data, or you believe that there is incorrect registered data or you have other objections, you can also contact DC A/S. You have the option to know what data is registered about you, and you can object to a registration according to the rules of the Danish Act on Processing of Personal Data.

 

3. Website and cookies

3.1. No data is collected about you through the use of cookies on this webpage. 

 

4. Collection of personal data

4.1 If you are a customer or contact us via the website https://www.dc.dk/, we collect the following general data relating to you, including name, country and e-mail address.

4.2 Personal data is never disclosed to any third party without your express consent.

4.3. We do not collect any particular categories of personal data (sensitive information) about you.

 

5. Processing of personal data

5.1. We only process personal data to the extent necessary. It can, for example, be necessary so that we can meet our obligations under the agreements and associated services. It can also be for complying with the obligations we have as a Danish company, where we are subject to Danish law.

5.2 Personal data should be understood as defined in Danish personal data law.

5.3 We make no profiling of you and do not misuse your personal data. We also do not disclose your personal data without your consent, unless we are required to do so by law.

5.4 If you are a customer, we use your personal data to:

  • Send order confirmations, passwords and user instructions to you
  • Provide you with customer service, support, answer questions and respond to your requests
  • Fulfil your orders and to deliver our services and benefits
  • Manage the administration of the customer relationship with you
  • To send notifications about new opportunities, products, prices, system updates, downtimes, etc., via e-mail.

6. Sharing your personal data

6.1. We may share your personal data with the suppliers and partners who assist us to fulfil your order, or who assist us with our IT operations, hosting, SMS-gateway, etc. This means that, for example, we may share your data with our service providers, our technical support and our bank.

6.1.2 We share your data to the extent we are required to, for example, as a result of the requirements for reporting to public authorities such as the Danish tax authorities (SKAT).

7.1 As the data controller, we do not share personal data with recipients outside the EU/EEA.

 

8. Sharing your personal data

8.1. According to the Danish Act on Processing of Personal Data, your personal data must be kept secure and confidential. We store your personal data on computers with limited access that are located in controlled facilities, and our security measures are checked continually to determine whether our user data is processed securely and continually taking your rights as a user into account. However, we cannot guarantee 100% security when transmitting data via the Internet. This means that there may be a (limited) risk that unauthorised persons may gain access to information when data is transmitted and stored electronically. Therefore, you submit your personal data and information at your own risk.

8.2. Personal data shall be deleted or made anonymous on an ongoing basis, as the purpose for which it was collected is completed. Personal data is stored for a maximum of 12 months after its purpose is completed.

8.3. The rapid development of the Internet means that changes in our processing of personal data may be necessary. We therefore reserve the right to update and amend these guidelines for processing personal data. If we do so, we will of course correct the date under point 9 of “last update” at the bottom of the page. In the event of significant changes and amendments, we will inform you in the form of a visible notification on our website.

8.4. To the extent that personal data is processed about you, according to the Danish Act on Processing of Personal Data, you have the right to be informed of which personal data can be attributed to you. If it turns out that the information or data that is being processed about you is inaccurate or misleading, you have the right to demand it is corrected, deleted or blocked. You can object at any time to the fact that data and information about you is the subject of processing. You can also withdraw your consent at any time. You also have the option to complain about the processing of information and data relating to you. Complaints shall be submitted to the Danish Data Protection Agency, see section 58 (1) of the Danish Act on Processing of Personal Data.
